Duties and responsibilities:
Coordinates administrative and Department activities, including the roster, and non-roster travels, Oversees the management record-keeping of the Department, classification of incoming and outgoing official letters.
Establish an effective system, provide leadership, and set an example for effective collaboration and data exchange of data with other departments.
Make written (technical documents, training material, guidelines, contracts, etc.) and verbal translation (at sites, during meetings, as required by expatriate employees and consultants) from Mongolian to English languages and vice versa. Translate messages simultaneously or consecutively, maintaining message content, context, and style as much as possible.
Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions. Provide a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text.
Qualifications & skills:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration / English language, good written and verbal English language skills particularly technical translation.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of office procedures and broad administrative functions. Ability to prepare substantive correspondence and reports and analyze data and documentation.
Ability to acquire quickly knowledge of available reference resources and technical terminologies; ability to translate documents in English and Mongolian; good typing skills both in English and Mongolian; ability to draft correspondences, a summary of meetings, prepare documentation and reports concisely and accurately.
At least 1-2 years of work experience in secretarial and administration functions and the English language translation field.
Excellent knowledge of English language both written and verbal.
