Duties and responsibilites:
- Cooperation responding ERT Members during an emergency
- Maintain close working relationship with other safety department employees as well as employees of other departments
- Oversee the use and maintenance of all site emergency response equipment
- The Fire Capitan is required to participate in and manage weekly, monthly and yearly inspections of all facilities/equipment on site and UB office as required
- Maintain daily activity and call out reports and submit to Safety Supervisor on a monthly basis
- To assist in investigating emergency incidents such as fire, accident
- Determine and make an order based on the necessity of tools equipment for emergency and daily operations.
- Oversee the use and maintenance of all site emergency response equipment.
- To ensure that Fire Rescue and technicians do walk around vehicle inspections on daily basis
Qualifications and requirements:
- Full secondary education or higher
- Previous experience in emergency and firefighting organizations would be an asset
- Basic English language would be asset
- Qualified as fire technician or fire truck driver would be an asset
- Expresses oneself clearli in conversations and interactions with others; listens actively towards work,
