Bayan Airag Exploration LLC, a mining company conducting exploration and project development, is inviting applications for an Auto Electrician position to work at its based in Site (Durvuljin, Zavkhan Aimag) with the roster of regular basis (20 days at work/10 days off):

Duties & Responsibilities:

Auto Electricians install, maintain, diagnose faults and repair electrical wiring and computer based equipment in mining fleet. Specifically, they will diagnose service and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection and ignition, anti-lock braking, cruise control and automatic transmissions. In addition, they will test, replace, recondition and install equipment such as generators, alternators, starter motors and batteries. They will also repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps and switches and use specialized electrical tools and machines;

- Use diagnostic equipment to locate electrical and electronic problems;

- Carry out tests to diagnose the faulty component;

- Record any other potential faults the diagnostic test equipment tells them are likely to occur in the future;

- Repair automotive electrical systems;  

- Replace  faulty electrical component (s) on equipment’s;

- Clean and test components;

- Analyzes vehicle computer-related systems for purpose of diagnosing computer system and component and providing needed repairs;

- Assist ordering of parts and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items as need;; 

- Completes work orders and prepares documentation for purpose of tracking labor and parts information to comply with regulating guidance;

- Reads, understand, applies electrical and hydraulic schematics for the purpose of performing needed repairs/ replacement within specifications;

- Replaces defective vehicle parts or systems for the purpose of ensuring the availability of vehicle in safe operating condition;

- Respond to emergency calls for the purpose of resolving immediate safe concerns;

- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor;

- Provide a prompt and accurate feedback;

- Personal and others safety must be first priority;

- Do workplace inspection individually or as a team before starting all assigned works by the shift foreman. If notice any unsafe condition, inform to the shift foreman;

- Company property and equipment must not be neglected;

- Inspect all tools and equipment before and after doing assigned works by the direct supervision and report all deficiencies;

Qualifications required for the position:

- Auto electrical engineering degree;

- Has valid state driver’s license with B and if has C classis preferred mechanical knowledge of machines, tools including their general;

- Good mechanical knowledge of machines, tools including their general specification, designs, uses, repair and maintenance;

- Good fundamentals knowledge of engine, power train, hydraulics, air conditioning, fueling system and auto electrical;

- Proper knowledge of contamination and skill to preform good oil sampling;

- Excellent problem solving skills;

- Excellent verbal communication skills;

- Self-motivated to improve own knowledge and continuously developing himself. Must be safety orientated;

Excellent organizational skills; 

Have an ability to understand MSDS;;

- Working experience in mining industrial/related field is preferred;  

- Basic knowledge of technical English; 

- Strong responsibility, able to work unsupervised and as a team, good disciplinary and tidiness skills;
